When Ruth went back to work again, Boaz ordered his young men, “Let her gather grain right among the sheaves without stopping her. And pull out some heads of barley from the bundles and drop them on purpose for her. Let her pick them up, and don’t give her a hard time!” (Ruth 2:15 – 16, NLT)
I’ll begin this post by letting you eavesdrop on a conversation. I’ve been talking to your future, and it asked me to give you a glimpse of things to come. Your future is sitting behind your new desk in the executive wing of your new job or better job. It’s joy riding down the highway, averaging about 40 miles per gallon, in your new car. It’s walking around the park enjoying the scenery and your complete healing from disease. Your future is serving the devil and his imps an eviction notice to leave every area of your life where they have been active!
If you thought that glimpse was worth celebrating, I have better news. God says the season leading to your future will be a breeze. You won’t have to network, join the latest social organization, or do any favors to get there. You won’t have to expose yourself, let people take unfair advantage of you, or compromise your gift. Because of what you went through in the last season of your life, God says this one is on the house. He’s opening the windows in heaven to pour out a blessing you won’t have room to receive. Your entire life is about to get easy!
Friend, you remind me a lot of Ruth. Although she had lived through an awful series of deaths and famine, God gave her an amazing finale. The verses included with this post show how her life transitioned from excruciating pain to easy provision. Boaz commanded his workers to make it easy for Ruth to gather food in his field. This was the start of a season of surplus after Ruth lived through significant shortages.
God is about to release the same season in your life. Ruth’s life transformed in 22 verses. I sincerely believe your life will miraculously shift toward better in the next 22 days. Get ready for blessings that you cannot explain. It’s about to get easy!
