But Jesus overheard them and said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid.  Just have faith” (Mark 5:36, NLT).

One of my favorite TV shows is The Price Is Right.  It’s one of the shows I’ve loved since I was a child.  My favorite part of the show is when the announcer reveals the next contestant.  I love the excitement that builds as the announcer says someone’s first and last name followed by “you’re the next contestant on The Price Is Right!”

You may not be in the studio audience for The Price Is Right, but God says, “You’re next!”  I know your life may not align with what He said, but that’s irrelevant.  God cannot lie.  Whatever He says must happen, so get ready for something incredible!

In Mark 5:36, Jesus hoped Jairus would conclude that he was next.  It seemed like Jesus had exhausted His power and resources healing a woman who had been hemorrhaging for 12 years, but that wasn’t the case.  This miracle was a prelude to what He was about to do next.  If He healed the woman, surely He wouldn’t stop short of His mission for Jairus and his daughter.

God is about to intervene miraculously in your life.  If you look closely, He’s staged evidence all around you.  People that you’re connected with have received what they have believed God for.  That wasn’t to intimidate you.  That was to inspire you.  God is in the neighborhood, and He’s headed to your address next.  Like Jairus, all you need to do is be faith-filled, not fearful.  You’re next in line for a miracle!
