The Payoff for Process

“And I will cause the Egyptians to look favorably on you.  They will give you gifts when you go so you will not leave empty-handed” (Exodus 3:21, NLT)

When people enlist the help of a personal trainer, they often have a specific goal in mind.  When the personal trainer designs and implements the plan, the client can get discouraged.  It’s usually because they didn’t know how hard they would have to work to accomplish their goals.  Good trainers will remind their clients of their goals with statements like, “If you want to achieve your goals, you have to complete these workouts.”

The trainer is trying to remind the client that there is a payoff for the process.  This is the same logic I’m sharing with you.  You may be in a difficult place, and it may not make sense.  If God allowed it, however, then I decree that something good is on the way.

Check out the Israelites in Exodus 3, for example.  They were in a situation so intense that the collectively cried out for help.  In Exodus 3:21, God gave Moses, their soon-to-be deliverer, a glimpse of their future.  He said, “They will not leave empty-handed.”  More specifically, He told Moses they would leave Egypt with the wealth of the Egyptians.  They would receive a payoff after their process ended.

That’s why I’m rejoicing about your circumstance.  Yes, it may be hard, but it’s leading to something unbelievable.  God is taking you to greater through the route called process.  Get ready for your miracle.  There will be a payoff after your process!
