Shift Your Thinking

Life is always hard for the poor, but the right attitude can turn it into a party (Proverbs 15:15, ERV).

Where do you turn when you face life’s difficulties?  Do you connect with your family?  Do you rely on your friends?  Do you seek counsel from your local church leadership?

What if I told you that the relief you desire when faced with life’s difficulties is already in you?  The shift you’ve been waiting for is as near as your next thought.  Proverbs 15:15 says, “Life is always hard for the poor, but the right attitude can turn it in to a party” (ERV).  This verse reveals that our attitude (thoughts) about a circumstance affect how we manage it.  Thoughts are the difference between life seeming like an obstacle or an opportunity.

This post is intended to accelerate your shift.  If you believe God, you have every reason to think your circumstances are favorable.  Jesus gave us this assurance: ” In this world you will have troubles. But be brave! I have defeated the world” (John 16:33, ERV).  Shift your thinking to align with this assurance, and you’ll quickly see the transition you’ve been waiting for.  The power to change is as near as your next thought!
