PULL OUT THAT IDEA

I participated in an online study of the Book of Proverbs. During one of the sessions, the Lord impressed this verse upon me:

they labor hard all summer, gathering food for the winter (Proverbs 6:8, NLT).

This verse provides wisdom and motivation from observations made of ants. The verse shares how ants store up food during the summer to prepare for the winter. As I read the verse, the Lord said, “Ants never store food smaller than themselves.” They put big things away to rely on them later.

There’s a big idea you’ve been sitting on. You received it during a different season of your life, and you stored it for future reference. It may have been a business concept, product, or invention. It may have been a workshop, book, or retreat. Whatever it was, the time has come. God says, “Pull out that idea!”

After you pull it out, you need to pray it out. The same God who gave you the idea will also give you the details to make it happen. While praying, ask Him for wisdom to develop the idea completely. Then, trust what He shares. Don’t rely on your understanding. All that He shares make not make sense, but by faith, believe that if He said it, it’s settled.

Last, push it out. The idea will become reality when you work the plan God provides. Since this is a God-idea, I must forewarn you that distractions will come. When they do, keep pushing. Be steadfast, unmovable, always focused on moving forward. Your labor will not be in vain. It’s time to pull out that idea!
