Then Nebuchadnezzar said, “…There is no other god who can rescue like this!” (Daniel 3:28-29, NLT)
Are you currently facing something that makes you wonder, “Why me?” If so, then I believe this post will inform and inspire you.
At times, teachers share complex information with their students. If their first attempt is unsuccessful, great teachers will reintroduce the same information using an example the students can relate to. God operates like a great teacher. He’s very complex, so He’s often misunderstood. When that happens, He’ll use His people as a billboard sign to reach others who are far from Him.
Daniel 3 illustrates this perfectly. Nebuchadnezzar wondered what god could rescue people from his power. God used Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego as examples to clarify Himself to Nebuchadnezzar. After Nebuchadnezzar saw them leave the fiery furnace unharmed, he fully understood who God was. He said, “There is no other god who can rescue like this” (Daniel 3:29, NLT).
As God used Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to reach Nebuchadnezzar, He’s using you to reach someone else. That’s why I can also declare that your current circumstance will not conquer you. God’s reputation with someone else is on the line, and He can do anything but fail. It’s only a matter of time before He shifts your circumstance to prove He can cause triumph from tragedy. God is using you to continue His legacy of greatness!
