FINDING HIS SPOT – The Daily Recharge

In the latest episode of our podcast, I shared that 2025 is the year to find your spot. When you don’t know where to start, or are accustomed to defining the year by yourself, this task can be as daunting as trying to find Where’s Waldo. If you didn’t catch that reference, don’t worry. I totally dated myself. Lol!

In this blog post, however, my assignment is to remove the fog off the process of finding your spot. As we start this journey, it’s important to note that it’s about finding God’s spot for you, not your own spot.

Whether you realize it or not, God designed you for a specific spot. There’s a “lane,” if you will, that optimizes the gifts He gave you. Here are two examples that show how specifically God designs us:

Then Jesus replied, “I have been sent only to the lost sheep of the people of Israel” (Matthew 15:25, GNT).

The Lord said to him, “Go, because I have chosen him to serve me, to make my name known to Gentiles and kings and to the people of Israel” (Acts 9:15, GNT).

God’s spot for Lord Jesus was the lost sheep of the people of Israel. Gentiles, kings, and the people of Israel were God’s spots for Apostle Paul.

God has a spot for you, too! If you’re searching for it, then look no further than the passages I already shared for strategies to employ for discovering God’s spot for you in 2025.

Prayer: Conversations with God, the Father, helped Lord Jesus find His spot. That’s exactly what prayer is – a conversation with God. When you seek His will for the year in prayer, the Bible promises, “We have courage in God’s presence, because we are sure that He hears us if we ask Him for anything that is according to His will. He hears us whenever we ask Him; and since we know this is true, we know also that He gives us what we ask from Him” (1 John 5:14-15, GNT).
People: God shared Apostle Paul’s spot with Ananias, another believer. When you’re searching for God’s spot, He will also surround you with people who can hear Him clearly. Seek out the Ananias’s in your life who can impart wisdom to get you to God’s spot quicker than you could alone.

Now, let’s recap this post. 2025 is the year to get to your spot. Your spot is the precise location for which you were designed to experience God-sized and God-styled impact. Finding God’s spot for you is easier when you pray or seek wisdom from people who can hear Him clearly.
