For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long.  Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! (2 Corinthians 4:17, NLT)

Can I take a moment to celebrate you?  You did it!  It’s been a difficult season, but you stayed the course.  You felt like giving up at times, but you weathered the storm.  You outlasted the events that were designed to make you quit!

You did exactly what God predicted about you.  Before He allowed this season, He inspected it.  He compared it to what He placed in you, and He declared, “It will not work!”  And, just like He thought, it didn’t.  You endured the trial and didn’t cave in.

Since you did what God predicted, it’s time for Him to do what He promised.  Get ready for a shift.  Glory is coming!  Better days are ahead.  That’s what Paul had in mind when he wrote, “For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long.  Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever” (2 Corinthians 4:17, NLT). 

I’m just trying to let you know that you’re approved!  You survived what may have seemed impossible!  And, the best news is that the forthcoming promise will match the pain you experienced.  I’m so excited for you, because I see you in the future, looking much better than you do right now!  Congratulations!  You’re approved for God’s incredible!
